Cash-Based, Patient-Centered Care

Are you ready to...

  • Learn more about what is causing your symptoms
  • Stop guessing your way through exercises
  • Get the one-on-one care you deserve

 Let's do this!

Does this sound like you?

You have been ignoring your symptoms

And little by little, you avoided doing things the things you loved.  You no longer lift heavy, you take less dance classes, and you avoid certain movements when playing with your kids.

You have only found short-term relief so far

Massage, heat, ice, and over-the-counter medications work sometimes, and they have become part of a constant loop of coping with your symptoms.

You enjoy learning about your own body

The idea of understanding the anatomy and biomechanics of movement as it relates to your symptoms sounds empowering.

hEAR FROM PREVIOUS CLIENTS

As an experienced patient of physical therapy, I have received advice from great professionals for decades. Some of them even with doctoral degrees from very reputable universities, just like Daniela. However, I must say that Daniela’s personal touch and devotion to the holistic wellbeing and happiness of her patients, (is) simply the best. Her therapies are where knowledge meets care with factual results to prove it.

Daniela combines knowledge, skills, personality and a thoughtful ability to communicate. She loves her work; this helps patients develop a positive attitude in rehabbing the body. Her sense of humor adds lots to the experience of working with her. An accomplished effective therapist!

A.C.

I met Daniela when I was looking for symptomatic relief of pains and discomfort. What I found instead was a thorough professional who made my whole body feel stronger, with renewed flexibility and free of the pain I had experienced before. Her therapeutic approach has resulted in a much better quality of life, thanks Daniela!

Frequently Asked Questions

No- PT with Dani operates on a cash-based model, which means sessions are not billed through insurance. This allows for longer, more personalized one-on-one care without insurance restrictions or referral requirements.

Many clients also use HSA/FSA funds to cover sessions. You will also receive a detailed receipt (superbill) after each session that you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your plan.

Do you take insurance?

No- one of the benefits of cash-based physical therapy is that you can schedule directly without a physician referral. Virginia allows direct access to physical therapy, meaning you can see me as your first point of contact for musculoskeletal issues.

If your condition requires further medical evaluation, I will guide you toward the appropriate next steps.

Do I need a referral?

Why cash-based PT?

With traditional insurance-based PT:
  • 30-45 minute appointments where you're often handed off to aides or assistants
  • Cookie-cutter exercise sheets printed from a database
  • Bouncing between different therapists each visit
  • Long wait for authorization approvals before starting treatment
  • Limited number of approved visits regardless of your progress

With cash-based PT:
  • Full 60 minutes of one-on-one care and attention, every time
  • Consistent care with the same provider who knows your history
  • Direct access to your provider for timely response to questions
  • Personalized treatment plan designed specifically for your goals
  • Visit summaries and high quality online exercise programs to keep you on track
  • Clean, private space for you to focus on your goals without distractions
  • Start immediately - no referrals, no authorization delays
  • Flexible scheduling that works around your life and helpful visit summaries to keep you on track

The number of sessions varies based on your condition and goals. Some clients see significant improvement in 4-6 visits and are able to continue their exercise program independently, while others with chronic or complex issues may benefit from ongoing care. I will discuss a personalized treatment plan during your first session and adjust as you progress.

How many sessions will I need?

Pricing varies by appointment type. The current price for an initial evaluation is $220. You can purchase multiple follow-up sessions in a package for a discounted rate. For more specific pricing information, please visit the services page.

Start working on desk-related pain today

As a Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in active adults with back and neck pain, one of the most common things I see is people doing all the right things- stretching, staying active, coming to PT- but spending 8+ hours a day in a desk setup that's quietly undoing all of it.

The way you sit matters, and the good news is that small, intentional adjustments can make a significant difference in how your body feels by the end of the day. This free guide breaks down the 9 key elements of an ergonomic workspace so you can stop working against your body and start working with it.
